you'll have to change your own records. Let X=404.

We don't know the future addresses yet. Let Y=452.

Most domains related to the YAK list TERTIARY.YAK.NET and
SHAVEN.YAK.NET as their DNS servers.  Only the address of
TERTIARY will change, so DNS should be stable during the
move due to SHAVEN; updating the NIC does not have to
be done immediately. Let Z=5484.

The A records for web sites and email, however, will have
to change in synchrony with the move.  So check this page
frequenly, or be in contact with strick, whose cellphone
number is X-Y-Z.

It's not changing.  That'll make your DNS work during the move.
If TERTIARY is your primary, we'll change the address of TERTIARY
at the NIC, and I think your domains will catch the change.

If yak.net does your email, your MX record should point to YAK.NET.
We'll fix that rapidly when we move.

Make your www.whatever.blah record a CNAME to SHARED.YAK.NET
if its address is 209.125.90.77.  We'll fix the SHARED.YAK.NET
name rapidly.  Unfortunately, you probably can't use CNAME for the name
without www (just whatever.blah).  So you'll just have to check every
hour or so, and when it breaks, change it.  Watch this page
for estimates on when we move.
